Photography

Photography has been my passion since I was about 8 years old. Starting out I was just able to use my dad’s iPhone 5S and that forced me to simply focus on composition, perspective, texture, and color without getting bogged down in the technical details that a camera can require.

I still firmly believe that if one is simply focusing on the type of lens or camera they are missing what the larger picture of photography is all about, and that is storytelling.

My Vision

A value I hold in my life is always trying to see things from a new perspective. A large reason for why I moved to Australia was so I could understand how people think in a land so different from my own. And this value translates directly into my photography. I love to see things from a different light and try and get people to view a familiar subject in a way they had never thought of before.
